A beautiful book about gambling through history with gorgeous photos and illustrations. Hank Messick and Burt Goldblatt delivered a masterwork on gambling through the years. The fact that they don’t write anything about Solitaire could be taken to mean they don’t see it as a true gambling game. Nevertheless, I got a lot of useful information from the book pertaining to the locations of Canfield’s casinos. In this book, you will also photos and illustrations of most of Canfield’s establishments and of the man himself.
